I moved to Helena with my husband Neville and our two children in 1982.  Having enjoyed for many years the concerts and shows available in both Liverpool and London, we were overjoyed to discover the Warfield Concerts in Helena, and couldn’t believe they were free.  Discovering that Warfield Concerts was a totally volunteer program, I soon became involved with the hospitality side of the concerts, putting out posters and proof reading the programs.  I am so proud to now be a member of the Warfield Committee, I consider it the greatest honor to serve this community, bringing world renowned artists to the Delta and improving the quality of life for it’s residents.

I am originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas but I have been a resident of Helena-West Helena since 1998.  I was appointed the Warfield Concerts Committee in 2009 and I have absolutely enjoyed the experience. Warfield Concerts is important to this community because it provides access to the performing arts for an area of the region that is economically depressed.  I believe the work of the Warfield Concerts Committee has done much to improve the quality of life for this area and look forward to helping it continue in the future.
