C. W. GATLIN
… came “from a lucky spot,” Phillips County, Delta, AR. C.W.’s mom, aunt and uncle played music. C.W. played guitar all his life: “My first band was me and and my guitar.” Artists like Mack Self, Robert Nighthawk and Houston Stackhouse taught C.W., whose roots are in rockabilly and blues. He sure had a lot of fun working with Frank Frost and Sam Carr. C.W.’s goal – “keep on rockin'”. C.W. has been inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame as a top lead guitarist.
