ELIGIBILITY
Two paintings may be submitted by each artist. All works must be original. The Juror will determine all award winners. Paintings must not exceed 30 inches by 40 inches. All paintings must be framed and ready to hang by wire. Paintings previously shownin this exhibit are not eligible.
MEDIA
Definition of watercolor for this exhibition is a “water soluble medium executed on paper, unvarnished.” Pastels are not eligible.
HANDLING FEES
A nonrefundable handling fee of $5.00 per painting is required.This fee must accompany the entry form or be mailed to Helena National Bank Watercolor Exhibition, P.O. Box 81, Helena, AR 72342.
HAND DELIVERY
Deliver the paintings to Helena National Bank, West Helena Branch, Highway 49 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. weekdays. April 16 through April 20, 2007.
SHIPPING
Paintings must be shipped to Helena National Bank, West Helena Branch, Highway 49, West Helena, AR 72390. Label “Helena National Bank Watercolor Exhibition.” They must arrive by April 20, 2007.
AGREEMENT
All paintings for sale must sell at the price indicated on the entry form. No change in price as stated on the entry form will be permitted during the exhibition. N.F.S. will be accepted. Purchased paintings may be picked up at the closing of the exhibition at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, April 29 or at Helena National Bank, Highway 49 on Monday, April 30 between 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m. Checks should be made payable to Helena National Bank Watercolor Exhibition. When a painting is sold, 20% of the sale price will be withheld by the Watercolor Exhibition.
IDENTIFICATION LABELS
The identification labels for entry must be filled out and affixed to the upper right back of each painting.

JUROR
Linda Palmer has been a professional artist for 26 years. She studied art at the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith. She owns and operates Linda Palmer Studio/Gallery in Hot Springs. She organized and curated the only International Exhibition for Arkansas artists. She is past president of the Hot Springs Arts Cooperative Team and is now serving on the Arts Advisory Board for that city. She is also a past president of the Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Palmer has had many one woman shows and lectures at universities in the state. Recently her art was accepted into the 2007 Delta at the Arkansas Arts Center. Her art can be seen on her website www.lindawilliamspalmer.com.
RECEPTION
The artists exhibiting paintings are invited to a reception honoring the Juror, Linda Palmer, at 5 p.m. at the Hendrix Gallery in the Fine Arts Center, PCC / UA in Helena, AR on Tuesday, April 24. Prizes will be awarded at this time.
LIABILITY
All reasonable care will be given to the works submitted, but they are sent at the risk of the sender and neither Helena National Bank and / or Warfield Concerts will assume any liability for loss, damage, or deterioration before, during or after the show. Neither will they be liable for loss during transit.

RETURN OF ENTRIES
Entries may be picked up at the closing of the exhibition at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, April 29, 2007 or Monday April 30, 2007, at Helena National Bank, West Helena Branch between 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m. Those paintings to be returned via UPS should have a call ticket issued within 3 days of the required date of return. Any paintings not collected by the 14th of May will be charged a storage fee of $5.00 per day.
